What another sleepless night has brought me...

I was once again lying in bed contemplating my life as I do every night when a thought occurred to me. What am I going to do this summer? I have in the past spent many summers laying in bed or on the couch watching T.V. or spending time on the computer, flooding my brain with useless information. I would occasionally justify my laziness by reading the occasional book, but with the publication of the last Harry Potter book complete, I have had little motivation to read (I am a strong believer that Harry Potter is responsible for the literacy of my generation).
Now despite my better judgement and with the insistence of my mother, I have acquired a summer job at a preschool down the road, but I get off work at 12:30 in the afternoon. That leads multitudinous hours left in my summer open and in need of amusing activity. Which leads me back to the question. What am I going to do this summer?
Here is my idea. There are 75 week days and 29 weekend days from the time I graduate high school, June 11, to when I move into my dorm on September 13. My goal is to comprise a list of activities to complete within this time, so that on everyday I will have something new, fun and exciting to do. Once the list is made I will make a plan or schedule to follow. I will complete every activity and blog about my experience. The schedule will be posted on this site so that way my friends and anyone else who finds themselves bored can participate and share their experience as well.
So the stage is set and the challenge has been made. I will now begin to compose my list and see where the summer will take me...
